Everwood Swim School
Welcome to Everwood Swim School!
Our swim school is located at Everwood Pre-Primary in Johannesburg North. We have a 5m x 6m length pool with an extra-large play step to build up water confidence. Our pool is fully enclosed and heated. This allows us to conduct swimming classes all throughout the year. Our facilities are double-gated for the safety of all our kiddies.
Who can join
Everwood Swim School?
Our swimming classes are open to all babies, kiddies and adults.
We have classes that accommodate swimmers from 6 months to 99 years old! Parents can opt to jump in the pool with their little ones for baby classes, or if their child is comfortable enough, then they can watch.
Alternatively, parents of school-going children normally opt to have lessons conducted during the school day to save them time during a busy work day. If you cannot be there to watch your child’s swimming lessons, you can choose to receive regular videos and photos of your child’s progress.
How are the swimming classes structured?
We offer group and individual classes. Groups consist of 4 swimmers. Individual classes are either 15 minutes or 30 minutes. We have four teachers that are available at different times. They are all experienced swimming teachers and are first aid qualified, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience. Add all their experience together, and we are fortunate to have a team of passionate teacher with more than 40 years of experience.

Covid policies
Luckily Covid does not survive in chlorine! But as an additional precaution, the pool room and bathroom get medically-grade fogged each day.
Parking
Afternoon and Saturday class parents can conveniently park at our school entrance located on Market Street.
Lessons taking place during the school day are accompanied by a loving Everwood teacher who watches the children throughout the lesson offering words of encouragement.
