Our Mission

Our mission is to educate our children in a “home away from home” environment where they will not just be a number, but where we take the time to get to know our children individually in a comfortable and secure environment

We believe in developing children to their full potential so that they will have the tools to face the future filled with self-confidence, but still encourage them to just be children.

We encourage our children to have a sense of belonging and purpose, and a positive self-image that values uniqueness.

We believe that trust is developed through relationships.

Acceptance grows from unconditional love from parents and teachers.

Independencies are developed by giving a child age appropriate choices.

Guidance is direction given to help a child make choices.

Our school has qualified teachers, assistants, a cook, and a gardener who are all dedicated to the children. Our staff are kind, caring, empathetic, and are willing to go beyond the call of duty.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

School terms

We follow Government school terms, but a fun and stimulating holiday care program is provided at NO extra charge.

School is closed on public holidays and “school holidays”, i.e. if a public holiday falls on a Tuesday or a Thursday the school is closed on the Monday and/or Friday. Please refer to full Annual Calendar.

Your child will receive a detailed report at the end of term 1, 2 and 4, as well as their workbook and art folder for you to see what they have achieved within that term.

Nutritional meals

Health is viewed as a top priority, so we provide 2 healthy cooked meals a day (breakfast and lunch). Snacks are to be provided from home. Visit our Programs page for some healthy snack ideas.

Communication

Newsletters will be e-mailed termly as a method of on-going communication with parents.

Each child is provided with a communication book which is sent home daily during term times. Parents can look forward to daily communication from the teachers informing you of your child’s specific progress.

A WhatsApp group per class also means you receive a synopsis daily round up of the day’s activities with some pics so you can see what your little one got up in the day. For older kiddies, this is a great conversation starter.

Below is our Annual Calendar for 2025 with reference to dates we are closed and important dates to plan around to ensure you are involved.
