Welcome to Everwood Swim School!
Our swim school is located at Everwood Pre-Primary in Johannesburg North. We have a 5m x 6m length pool with an extra-large play step to build up water confidence. Our pool is fully enclosed and heated. This allows us to conduct swimming classes all throughout the year. Our facilities are double-gated for the safety of all our kiddies.

Who can join
Everwood Swim School?
Our swimming classes are open to all babies, kiddies and adults.
We have classes that accommodate swimmers from 6 months to 99 years old! Parents can opt to jump in the pool with their little ones for baby classes, or if their child is comfortable enough, then they can watch.
Alternatively, parents of school-going children normally opt to have lessons conducted during the school day to save them time during a busy work day. If you cannot be there to watch your child’s swimming lessons, you can choose to receive regular videos and photos of your child’s progress.

Our swimming lessons are open to Everwood pupils and the wider community. We welcome babies from six months old, children and adults, with lessons adapted to each swimmer’s age, ability and confidence in the water.
Yes. Baby swimming lessons are available from six months old. Parents can join their baby in the pool or watch from the side if their child is comfortable swimming with the instructor.
Yes. Children attending Everwood Pre-Primary can have lessons during the school day, saving parents from arranging a separate afternoon activity. An Everwood teacher accompanies the children and offers support and encouragement throughout the lesson.
Yes. Our fully enclosed pool is heated, allowing swimming lessons to continue throughout the year rather than only during the warmer months.
The 5 m x 6 m pool has an extra-large play step where younger or less confident swimmers can become comfortable in the water. The pool is fully enclosed and the facility has double-gated access as an additional safety measure.
Yes. Group classes have a maximum of four swimmers. Individual lessons are available in either 15-minute or 30-minute sessions, depending on the swimmer’s needs and selected lesson option.
Everwood’s four swimming instructors are experienced and first-aid qualified, with each teacher having at least four years of experience. Together, the team has more than 40 years of swimming-teaching experience.
Parents who cannot attend lessons may choose to receive regular photographs and videos showing their child’s progress. Instructors can also provide feedback on water confidence, skills development and areas being worked on.

Parents attending afternoon or Saturday lessons can park at the Everwood school entrance on Market Street.
